Introduction
The Commissary Order management Interface is a module that will allow sites that are centralized to conveniently exchange Sales Orders, Shippers and Invoices between the commissary and the individual sites (or customers).
Below is a graphic highlighting the sales process between the commissary and its customers.
Purchase orders are created by the commissary’s customers. By using the export option of the FOOD-TRAK Commissary Vendor Interface the customers send their purchase orders to the commissary.
The commissary imports the sales orders. Once the order is complete it becomes a shipper.
The shipper is exported to the customer. Until the customer imports the invoice using the import option on the vendor interface this invoice will be in a ’r;holding area’. Once the invoice is imported the customer can complete it as necessary.
